Tunisians can now benefit from using their tourist allowances via an international credit card when travelling.
The international card “e-Dinar Travel” is a prepaid chip card. It allows its holder to benefit and manage the tourist allowance in a digital way during his travels abroad. It does also allow offer one year of a free travel insurance.

The “e-Dinar Travel” card is a secure and easy-to-use card. Anyone will be able to make payments when travelling abroad from any merchants, withdrawing money from ATMs, etc.
This card also allows the payment of hotel bookings and the purchase of services via the internet.
e-Dinar Travel — How to Get Yours?
You actually need to head out to the nearest Postal Office location. It’s recommended though to go to the main Postal Office in Tunis downtown. You’ll need to bring the following required documents:
- Passport + A copy of the actual passport.
- Tunisian National ID (CIN) + A copy of it.
- A form that you’ll fill in over there + 49DT fees.
If you fulfill the requirements, you’ll be able to immediately get the international card.

Hello. I live in norway and I have a travel card from tunisia but before coming I did not put any money in it. Is it possible that I give the card number to my parents in tunisa and they recharge the card in the post office with their money? Thank you in advance.
