For most people around the world they are Arabs, for most Arabs they are Maghrebis (Tunisians, Libyans, Algerians, Moroccans and Mauritanians). but what actually are Tunisians? what is so special about them? or as they call themselves “Twensa”.

It’s known that the mentality and lifestyle of the inhabitants of a region or a country are affected by many factors. the climate, the food, the geolocation and so on, and Tunisians are no different. So we can have an overall assessment of their personalities and way of thinking.

Tunisia was since long ago the capital and main state for many different civilizations and its strategic location on the Mediterranean sea made it an important port for sales and trades. So Tunisians are familiar with foreigners and their different faiths and beliefs. they are open to others helpful, gentle and cheerful.

Tunisian People

So if you are one of those who thought of Tunisians as the conservative and closed to their traditions then you can say for sure that you miss judged them. And you will for sure be surprised by how warm and generous they are.
