In the first five months of the current year, the amount of transfers from Tunisians living abroad (TRE) reached 3.243 million dinars, compared to 2.993 million dinars during the same period in 2024.
Expressed in dollars, these funds amounted to the equivalent of one billion dollars (average monthly exchange rate at the end of May: 1 dollar = 3.050 dinars).
It is worth recalling that Tunisian diaspora transfers showed remarkable resilience in 2024, reaching 8.128 million dinars, which is equivalent to 2.6 billion dollars.
