Khalil Jendoubi Wins Gold

Tunisian Olympic champion Mohamed Khalil Jendoubi claimed the gold medal in the World Taekwondo Championship in the under 63 kg category on Saturday, October 25, 2025, in Wushu, China. He triumphed in the final against Iran’s Ali Haj Mousaei.

On his path to the gold, Jendoubi defeated Jordan’s Mahmoud Al-Tarira in the semifinals, along with Kazakhstan’s Ababakirouf Semirkhon, Hungary’s Omar Gerghili, Russia’s Maxim Ousin, and Surinam’s Mesidjan Bendjino.

Notably, Jendoubi also boasts two Olympic medals in the under 58 kg category: a silver in Tokyo 2020+1 and a bronze in Paris 2024.
