Chery Tiggo 1X: First Crossover Under the “Voitures Populaires” Regime3 min read

Chery Tiggo 1X in Tunisia

The Société Tunisienne d’Automobiles (STA), official dealership of the Chinese automobile brand Chery in Tunisia, brought a new Crossover model, the Tiggo 1X for sell under the low-cost vehicles regime “voitures populaires”.

First arrival of the Chery Tiggo 1X to the country scheduled for this March, 2024. Registrations open from 8:30 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., those who are interested are invited to register at the STA showroom (Borj Ghorbel industrial zone, Ben Arous) and all its official agencies in Nabeul, Sousse, Sfax, Gabès and Jerba.

People already registered (former Chery QQ car under the “voiture populaire” regime) are also invited to visit the brand’s showrooms, with their receipts as they have the priority to get the Tiggo 1X model, if interested.

This is considered the first Crossover to be sold as “voiture populaire” in Tunisia. The new Chery Tiggo 1X is currently available for registration at STA headquarter in Ben Arous. It costs 34k TND and comes with a manufacturer’s warranty of 3 years or 100,000 km.
