World Cup 2022 Group D includes France, Denmark, Australia, and Tunisia. On paper, the group appears to be rather straightforward. However, both Australia and Tunisia are capable of posing significant challenge to the European superpowers.
France and Denmark are expected to advance to the round of 16 with relatively little effort, as the defending champions have Kylian Mbappe guiding the way despite offensive injuries. As for Denmark, they demonstrated their quality by reaching the semifinals of EURO 2020, and they performed admirably in European qualifying.
Australia is a ruthless team that will sit back, frustrate opponents, and look for opportunities to strike on the counter. The last time Tunisia participated in the AFCON, they reached the quarterfinals, although their chances of advancing to the next round of 16 are quite low.
