Tunisia has land connections with neighboring Algeria and Libya. This is all about traveling to the country overland.

Foreign tourists can enter Tunisia on Free visa-exempt stay, Visa on Arrival or tourist visa obtained at Tunisian embassy or consulate.

Tunisia Overland Crossings

Tunisia has over seven international overland border crossings making it possible to arrive overland from Algeria and Libya.

Overland Border Crossings from Algeria to Tunisia

Tunisia and Algeria share 1010 km of border. The most popular overland border crossings from Algeria are El Aioun and El Haddada.

Bouchebka crossing is also widely used by travelers coming from the Eastern South of Algeria. All international overland border crossings suitable for all foreign passport holders.

Overland Border Crossings from Libya to Tunisia

Tunisia and Libya share 460 km of border. The most popular overland border crossings from Libya are Ras Ajdir and Dhiba-Wazzan. All international overland border crossings suitable for all foreign passport holders.
