Tunisia Continues Rescue Efforts in Türkiye & Syria to Help Quake Relief3 min read

Tunisia’s Civil Rescue Team searches for survivors in Turkey

Tunisia’s emergency & search-and-rescue teams are continuing efforts in Türkiye and Syria to help earthquake relief by providing life-saving support.

Following the devastating effects of the recent Earthquake which took place in Türkiye Syria on February, 6, 2023, Tunisia had already sent two “C-130J Super Hercules” aircrafts loaded with emergency search & rescue and medical teams to both Türkiye and Syria. Countless victims were trapped in rubble, with harsh winter conditions exacerbating their plight.

Along with the over 14 tons of blankets and food as its first batch of the humanitarian aid that was sent to the affected areas, Tunisia’s search and rescue teams are continuing efforts to help earthquake relief by supporting the search and rescue mission.
