Tunisian Samy Chaffai wins the Best Short Film Award

At the 19th edition of the Marbella International Film Festival, held from October 2 to 6, 2024, in Spain, Tunisian director and producer Samy Chaffai won the prestigious “Best Short Film Award” for his short film “Where is Diana.”

This award highlights Samy Chaffai’s talent, whose works continue to capture international attention.

The short film “Where is Diana” addresses profound and contemporary themes. The plot revolves around the mysterious disappearance of Diana, a character whose absence becomes the starting point for a reflection on loss.

The film stands out for its visual aesthetics and its ability to tackle universal themes while remaining rooted in a sensitive reality. It demonstrates the expertise of the Tunisian director and producer, who skillfully combines complex themes with emotions.
