‎L'ellet'hom - لِلاَّتهُم‎

Lellet’home -للاتهم, is an initiative that empowers rural women in Tunisia. The initiative is led by a group of young people who wanted to address the lack of support and coaching for women in rural areas to carry out their own projects.

Lellet’hom is actually an award-winning project. It has won a grant after participating in a competition organized by the US State Department under the name of “Alumni Engagement Innovation Fund” (AEIF). The competition provides grants for the participants of the US government exchange programs to carry out innovative projects where they apply the skills and knowledge they have gained throughout their exchange experiences.

Today, Lellet’hom is an organization that aims to create better economic and social conditions for Tunisian women, particularly those who live in remote areas. Its main goal is to help those who have projects ideas and do not have the financial means, the technical knowledge, nor the entrepreneurial skills to start their businesses. The team’s role consists of providing workshops that suit each of their ideas, helping them with marketing strategies and communication campaigns, and launching the commercialization process of the products.

Ser w Kamoun. In April 2019, Lellet’hom launched “Ser w Kamoun”. Hejer, project’s owner, is a fighting woman from Kef who offers her clients spices, condiments, and 100% homemade starchy foods. Lellet’hom team helped her create a brand, have sales outlets, and promote her products online and offline.

Vivid. A week after the launch of Ser w Kamoun, another Lellet’hom team focused on Saida’s project, the talented jeweler who does not cease to mesmerize us with her beautiful creations that she sells under the brand name Vivid, which means a bold, intense, and joyful color that you can almost feel. This is what Saida incarnates in her jewelry! Saida’s project now turned out to be profitable.
