Mehdi Cherif is a young activist who is fighting for better education. He decided to take a different path when he graduated from high school back in 2016.
Despite his high grades and academic achievements, he decided to take a gap-year to work on his own book in French “Réflexions d’un Elève Insoumis” covering the education reform in Tunisia.
He worked with several known organizations, such as the Youth Clubs Movement, Wallah We Can, and co-founded the “Génération Transition” learning group in August 2018. He was recently nominated by the Tunisian Institute of Strategic Studies to join the 100 future leaders of Tunisia (ITES).

Recently, Mehdi revealed that his second book “Ils sont parmi nous : GERM et Education en Tunisie” is going to be published very soon.
A double Harvard-reject and drop-out school law, Mehdi is currently pursuing a degree in sociology at Université 9 Avril in Tunis.
