Tunisair to launch flights to New York

Tunisair will launch direct flights to New York JFK, Beijing, and Douala in 2024, Minister of Transportation Rabie Al Majidi confirmed during a conference following a delivery ceremony in Nabeul last week.

The national Tunisian flag-carrier wants to transform Tunis into a hub linking poorly-connected African cities with the rest of the world.

Majidi, who participated in the delivery ceremony of 9 new buses to the Regional Transport Company in Nabeul, said that the national airlines company is working to improve the governance of its resources and to launch new airline routes to Africa including a line to Douala, economic capital of Cameroon. In addition to the routes to Beijing and New York.
