Tunisia has strongly condemned any attacks on the territories of Arab countries, reaffirming its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, the UAE, Jordan, and Iraq.
In a statement issued on Sunday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration, and Tunisians Abroad, Tunisia expressed deep concern over the escalating military tensions in the region and the potential dangers of a broader conflict, which could spiral into chaos and pose a serious threat to both regional and global peace.
Tunisia reiterated its commitment to respecting the sovereignty of nations and condemned any violations of a country’s territorial integrity.
The statement emphasized Tunisia’s strong belief in Arab and Islamic solidarity, international law, and peaceful conflict resolution. Tunisia called for an immediate halt to military actions, urging all parties to exercise restraint, return to negotiations, and avoid further escalation in order to protect innocent lives and preserve the region’s resources.
Finally, Tunisia called on the United Nations Security Council to take immediate action and fulfill its responsibility to maintain international peace and security.
