Tunisia is almost 164 km², which ranks it 91st based on land mass. Basically, you can notice how small it is just by looking at a map and comparing it to its neighbors. But you might be surprised, how this small country can make you experience a great mixture of landscapes. the beauty of the desert, the rocky mountains, the beaches and the breathtaking grasslands.
The Tunisian government encourages its people to invest in agriculture. So while traveling in the country you will notice that almost all the time you are surrounded by farms and fields, which makes the journey more amusing especially in the spring.
If you are the type to enjoy a nice trip to the cold breezy rocky mountains. Then your direction is the southwestern and the western side of the country. Maybe visit the likes of Tbarka, Ain Draham, Rafraf, Metline and the list goes on. Where you can add a nice dive into the Mediterranean see as well.
Maybe, you are the type to enjoy a nice calm sunset feast in the desert. A ride on a camel and a walk in the old monuments built in the desert and many other activities which can be experienced in the southern part of the country.
And what makes the visit more relaxing is that the inhabitants of that region are known for their warmth, kindness, generosity and respect to guests and tourists.
Otherwise, you are just the typical kind of a person, who loves swimming, playing volleyball or keepie uppies with your friends and family and sun bathing on the beach.
Tunisia’s eastern coast can offer you either a calm stay on the coast of Nabeul, Mahdia, Sfax and Bizerte or a loud party filled stay in Sousse or Hammamet. in both cases you will be fully enjoying the Mediterranean sea.
So, if you are hesitating to visit Tunisia because you don’t if you can find what you really want there. or already planning a visit, you should know that you can for sure find you the experience that you really wish for. And maybe you should try more than one experience because you might be able to enjoy them all.
