Tunisia confirms its proficiency in organ transplant in Africa.
The Rabita University Hospital in Tunis’ medical and paramedical teams performed a heart transplant for the twenty-first time, Saturday, January 2nd, continuing a string of accomplishments in the field of organ transplantation made in recent months by Tunisian medical teams.
According to the Ministry of Health’s report, this surgical procedure was completed thanks to the coordinated efforts of the medical and paramedical teams in the Department of Surgery, under the direction of the department head, Dr. Adel Amous, and under the supervision of the National Center for the Advancement of Organ Transplantation.
The achievement of Tunisian medical teams in public hospital institutions in the field of organ transplantation was highlighted at the time, and the Ministry of Health proudly proclaimed its satisfaction.
