In terms of history and culture, Tunisia is arguably the richest in the Mediterranean region. Numerous local and foreign artists are choosing Tunisia to film their music videos and movies, taking advantage of some of the country’s iconic venues such as its popular heritage sites.
Chedi Amir is one of the first few Tunisian singers to film a music video in a heritage site in Tunisia. The song titled Mahboub Khatri and the music video filmed at one of the country’s most iconic venues, the archaeological site Uthina (Also called Oudhna). Uthina was an ancient Roman-Berber city located near Tunis, Tunisia.
To give you a little bit of background about the singer, Chedi Amir is a Tunisian singer born in March 13, 1990 in Tunis. He is best known for his song Cho9o Do9o (Arabic: شقو دقو) that went viral back in April 2017 in Tunisia. He is also an engineer in electromechanics. He obtained a degree in Applied License and a Master of Research in Electrotechnical and Automatic Electronics. Chedi is currently working on his Phd in electronics.
