What is a Junior Enterprise?
The concept of the Junior Enterprises “JE” movement aims to provide undergraduate and graduate students of higher education with unique learn by doing experiences.
While still studying at universities, students create and manage their own non-profit small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). This would allow them to be prepared for the corporate world and to learn by doing as they will be implementing and delivering several types of services related to their fields of studies.

The services are provided for companies, institutions, and society under the guidance of teachers and professionals with the goal to consolidate and enhance the learning or their members.
The Junior Enterprises concept definitely gives students hands-on entrepreneurial and professional experience, and the opportunity to impact their clients’ businesses.
These created on-campus companies, called Junior Enterprises, offer different types of services to the market, in relation to students’ fields of study.
How Junior Enterprises Mouvement Works?
The Junior Enterprises Global Organization “JEGlobal” is the International organization that represents the Junior Enterprise movement worldwide. The JEGlobal does manage the JS movement across the globe through its confederations.

Confederations themselves are what we can refer to as umbrella organizations of Junior Enterprises in a given country or region. There are currently around 19 confederations which represent a total of 17 countries, all working united under the JEGlobal with a mission towards boosting educational, economical and collaborative impact worldwide.
Junior Enterprises of Tunisia
Junior Enterprises of Tunisia “JET” is actually the official organization of Junior Enterprises movement in Tunisia. It does currently count 37 junior enterprises nationwide with over 40 areas of expertise.
JET is a support structure, coming to oversee and guide the Junior Enterprises in their work and trainings. Founded in 2012 by four Junior Enterprises, JET has set itself the goal of extending the network of Junior Entrepreneurs in Tunisia and representing them worldwide.
By integrating a network of 37 Junior Enterprises across the country and supporting the growth of thousands of its members, JET is one of the most powerful Tunisian students’ organizations that creates great potential for a more entrepreneurial society and active citizenship.
Several events are being organized year-round by JET and the Junior Enterprises with the main purpose to give students hands-on entrepreneurial and professional experience which eventually leads to developing the next generation of future entrepreneurs in Tunisia.
