Nejib Belhedi, a Tunisian retired colonel and swimmer, came back from heart surgery at the age of 66 to swim 76 hours and 30 minutes along the coast of Tunisia from Sfax to Djerba in a 120 km sea swim between September 15th-18th 2018.

It was the longest sea swim by duration, 76 hours and 30 minutes non stop and without any assistance or equipment, surpassed all human limits and was recognized and honored by Guinness World Records.
