Rotaract Tunisia Cuts All Ties with Rotary International1 min read

Rotaract Tunisia is Now TUNI'ACT

Several resignations have been submitted by Tunisian and Arab clubs in response to Rotary International’s pro-Israel stance, despite the fact that the Israeli army is carrying out a genocide against the Gaza Strip’s residents.

This is particularly significant since the presidency of this Organization did not want to withdraw its scandalous press release or express any condemnation of the atrocities of the occupier.

After the Rotary Club Carthage, Rotary Club Tunis Méditerranée, and Rotary Tunis Doyen, whose members withdrew Rotary en bloc, the national coordination of Rotaract Tunisia has now declared its separation from Rotary International via a press release dated Thursday, October 19.

The creation of a Tunisian charitable organization called TUNI’ACT , which will guarantee the continuation of support initiatives for disadvantaged populations in Tunisia, was announced by the coordination.
