Gaza media office: More than 3,750 people have been reported as missing in Gaza.

The director general of the government media office in Gaza, Ismail Thawabta, asserts that medical facilities and institutions within the enclave “only provide healthcare services.”

“The false allegations propagated by the Israelis that these facilities are housing military infrastructure are false, groundless, and baseless,” he told reporters.

Thawabta condemned the Israeli military assault on al-Shifa Hospital for several days and urged the international community to “apply pressure” in an effort to bring an end to the siege.

Healthcare providers have “repeatedly demanded” that international organisations form technical teams to carry out inspection visits to all medical facilities “in order to refute the false allegations raised by the Israelis”, he said.
